I was just recently told by S Cormier that she stayed up late one night finishing book one to see if Ring made it back home and to say how much she enjoyed the book! It sure does this old heart good to know that people enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Thanks to SC and to anyone who has read and enjoys the books.

After Margaret snuck that photo of me while in Raton, I just had to take one of her playing, excuse me, WORKING, on her new Ipad. She knows more (at age 78)about technology than I will ever know. She truly amazes me.
Margaret snuck a photo of me while on a recent trip out West to research our next book. We were in Raton, New Mexico and the weather and scenery were beautiful! And, yes, I do sometimes still write on legal pads.
I've had the privilege of shooting the Class 5 rapids of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Little did I know that this exhilarating ride was actually prep for one of my Wolf books (actually the next in the series). Wish you had been with me,,,
In our book-research travels, our vehicle sometimes give us lemons by breaking down. Some of those lemons have been turned into lemonade by the wonderful people who have come to our aid. No pun intended. Lynn A in Woodville, TX and Cliff H in Clayton, NM are two such people. Sweeten the lemonade even more with the many new Facebook friends along the way. We are truly blessed.
